After the complete destruction of production, we did not just recover – we became even stronger. We proved: true quality is born in struggle. And today, every meter of our products is the embodiment of indomitability, technical excellence and dedication to our work.

Company history

Today

We continue to strengthen the telecommunications infrastructure of Ukraine and the world. Our cables are not just technology. They are proof that Ukrainian quality is about reliability, dignity and invincibility.

2023 — Production of optical patch cords

Utex starts a division for the mass production of patch cords.

2023 — Rebuilding from scratch

Despite the losses, the UTEX team is rebuilding production at a new location. An updated cable and patch cord production line is launched. The company is returning to the market stronger than ever.

2022 — Complete destruction of production due to war

After the missile strike, the UTEX plant suffered serious damage. Production was halted, and a significant portion of the equipment was destroyed.

2020-2021 — Production expansion

New modern lines for the production of fiber-optic cables, including micro cables, have been put into operation.

2019 — ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification

UTEX receives international quality certificates ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 in accordance with TUV NORD CERT procedures, confirming compliance with high production standards.

2018 — Fast growth and expansion

The company is entering into partnerships with leading Ukrainian telecommunications operators, expanding its warehouse space and product range.

2008 — Start of own production

UTEX launches its own production of optical patch cords and connecting fittings, ensuring quality control at all stages.

2016 — Founding of the company

The company UTEKS started its activity on the Ukrainian market as a supplier of telecommunications equipment and fiber optic solutions.

Where is UTEX cable used?

Air communication network

Suspended fiber optic cables are widely used to build communication lines between power line supports, buildings, telecommunication poles and other structures. They provide reliable data transmission over long distances and are resistant to external factors such as wind, rain, ultraviolet radiation and temperature fluctuations.

City cable sewer

They are used to organize reliable and secure communication lines in urban environments, where external laying of engineering communication lines is not allowed. They are laid underground or in special cable ducts, which ensures their safety, durability and invisibility.

In the soil

Cables designed for trenchless or trenched laying directly in the ground are used to create trunk optical communication lines. Such cables withstand mechanical soil loads, moisture, freezing, and are often equipped with armor or hydrophobic elements for durability in aggressive environments.

On-site use

Optical cables for indoor installation are designed for installation inside residential, office, administrative and industrial premises. Due to their flexibility, small dimensions and fire-resistant sheaths, they are ideal for laying in cable ducts, risers, boxes and distribution units.

Application of Utex patch cords where a tight, orderly and easy-to-maintain connection between servers, routers and other devices is required.

BASF

BASF polymers provide tensile strength, compression resistance and maintain integrity even during aggressive installation or operation.

BOREALIS

Borealis polyethylene provides reliable protection of the cable from impacts, punctures, abrasion and other mechanical influences - especially important for underground or suspended installation.
