А-D(ZN-2P)2Y xЕ 2,5kN is a self-supporting dielectric optical cable of ADSS type, designed for suspension in distribution networks, on sections of fibre-optic lines with a distance between poles up to 145 m (depending on climatic conditions). The design includes two EAA-coated fiberglass rods, which provide a strong fixation in cable clamps and protect the sheath from damage under operating loads. The cable can withstand short-term tensile forces of up to 2.5 kN and prevents fiber retraction in the suspension. The sheath is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), resistant to UV radiation, moisture and mechanical stress.
