A-D(ZN-2P)2Y xE 0.3/1.0kN is a self-supporting dielectric optical cable of ADSS type with two FRP rods, designed for suspended installation in distribution and subscriber networks. It is used for outdoor installation on power line poles or between buildings in spans of up to 50 m (depending on climatic conditions) with a short-term tensile load of up to 1 kN. Two EAA coated rods with backing provide additional stability in cable clamps and prevent damage to the sheath under high tensile loads during operation of the optical network. The guaranteed availability of the excess fiber length compensates for the natural stretching of the cable in the suspension between the supports and prevents the optical fiber from being pulled inside. This ensures that the fiber does not retract along the edges of the cable when suspended.
