А-DQ(ZM-SR)2Y xE 2,7kN is an armored optical cable with a central optical tube designed for outdoor installation in cable sewers, pipelines, cable ducts and soils of categories 1-3. It is suitable for distribution networks and FTTB applications with support for fiber counts from 2 to 24. The construction includes a laminated corrugated metal tape for effective protection against rodents and compression. The strength elements are metal rods with a diameter of 1.2 mm, which provide short-term load capacity of up to 2.7 kN. The central optical tube with a thixotropic gel prevents moisture to the fibers, and the space between the tube and the reinforced tape is additionally protected by a water-blocking tape. The outer jacket is made of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene (HDPE), resistant to external influences in difficult conditions.
